Job Description: Engineering Intern

Position Overview:

LocWill is seeking a motivated and talented Engineering Intern to join our team. As an Engineering Intern, you will work closely with our experienced engineering team and contribute to various engineering projects and initiatives. This internship will provide valuable hands-on experience in engineering design, product development, testing, and project management.

Responsibilities:

Assist in the design and development of new products or enhancements to existing products, under the guidance of the engineering team.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product management and manufacturing, to gather requirements and ensure successful product implementation.

Conduct research and analysis to support engineering projects, including feasibility studies, material selection, and cost optimization.

Assist in creating 2D and 3D drawings, models, and prototypes using computer-aided design (CAD) software.

Support engineering testing and validation activities, including preparing test plans, conducting tests, and analyzing test data.

Assist in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues during product development and manufacturing processes.

Contribute to the documentation of engineering processes, specifications, and standards.

Assist in project management activities, including coordinating schedules, tracking progress, and ensuring timely completion of engineering projects.

Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in engineering design and product development.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams on special engineering projects and initiatives as assigned.

Qualifications:

Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or related field).

Strong technical skills and knowledge in engineering principles, design methodologies, and product development processes.

Proficiency in computer-aided design (CAD) software, such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar tools.

Familiarity with engineering analysis and simulation tools is a plus.

Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with the ability to think critically and propose innovative solutions.

Excellent attention to detail and ability to work with precision in a fast-paced environment.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively in a team setting.

Eagerness to learn and contribute to engineering projects and initiatives.

Prior internship or relevant work experience in engineering or related fields is a plus.
