Job Description: Finance Intern

Position Overview:

LocWill is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Finance Intern to join our team. As a Finance Intern, you will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in various aspects of finance, including financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting. This internship will provide valuable insights into financial management and help you develop essential skills for a successful finance career.

Responsibilities:

Assist in the preparation and analysis of financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.

Support financial forecasting and budgeting processes, including data gathering, analysis, and reporting.

Assist in conducting financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and areas for improvement.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather financial data and assist in financial modeling and scenario analysis.

Assist in monitoring and analyzing key financial metrics, such as profitability, liquidity, and solvency ratios.

Support the preparation of financial presentations and reports for management and stakeholders.

Assist in conducting research and analysis of industry and market trends to support financial decision-making.

Contribute to the improvement of financial processes, controls, and systems.

Assist in the coordination of financial audits and compliance activities.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams on special finance projects and initiatives as assigned.

Qualifications:

Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work with financial data and derive meaningful insights.

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other financial analysis tools.

Knowledge of financial concepts, principles, and accounting practices.

Strong attention to detail and ability to work with precision in a fast-paced environment.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment.

Eagerness to learn and contribute to finance projects and initiatives.

Prior internship or relevant work experience in finance or accounting is a plus.

Knowledge of financial software systems, such as ERP or financial planning tools, is a plus.
