Job Description: Supply Chain Intern


Position Overview: 

LocWill is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Supply Chain Intern to join our team. As a Supply Chain Intern, you will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in various aspects of supply chain management. You will work closely with our experienced supply chain professionals and contribute to real-world projects that directly impact our operations and client satisfaction.


Responsibilities:

1.Assist in monitoring and analyzing key supply chain metrics, such as inventory levels, order fulfillment, and on-time delivery performance.

2.Support the procurement process by assisting in vendor evaluation, negotiation, and contract management.

3.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify process improvement opportunities and assist in implementing solutions to enhance operational efficiency.

4.Assist in tracking and managing shipment schedules, ensuring timely delivery, and resolving transportation issues.

5.Contribute to the development and maintenance of supplier relationships by assisting in conducting performance evaluations and supplier audits.

6.Conduct data analysis to identify trends and patterns, and provide insights to optimize supply chain operations.

7.Support the implementation and utilization of supply chain management systems and tools.

8.Assist in preparing reports, presentations, and documentation related to supply chain activities.

9.Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in supply chain management and share relevant insights with the team.

10.Collaborate with team members on special projects and initiatives as assigned.


Qualifications:

1.Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Logistics, or a related field.

2.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work with large datasets and derive meaningful insights.

3.Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

4.Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other data analysis tools.

5.Knowledge of supply chain concepts, processes, and best practices.

6.Strong verbal and written communication skills.

7.Ability to work effectively both independently and in a team environment.

8.Eagerness to learn and contribute to a fast-paced, dynamic work environment.

9.Prior internship or relevant work experience in supply chain management is a plus.

10.Knowledge of logistics software systems and tools is a plus.
