Job Description: Data Analysis Intern

Position Overview:

LocWill is seeking a talented and experienced Supply Chain Data Scientist to join our team. As a Supply Chain Data Scientist, you will leverage your expertise in data analysis, modeling, and machine learning to drive insights and improvements in our supply chain operations. Your advanced analytical skills will contribute to optimizing inventory management, demand forecasting, logistics planning, and overall supply chain efficiency.

Responsibilities:

Assist in collecting, cleaning, and organizing data from various sources for analysis.

Perform data analysis using statistical techniques and data visualization tools.

Assist in developing and maintaining data dashboards and reports to track key performance indicators (KPIs) and trends.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify data requirements and support their analytical needs.

Assist in conducting exploratory data analysis to identify patterns, correlations, and anomalies.

Support the development and implementation of data models and algorithms for predictive analytics and machine learning.

Assist in testing and validating data models and algorithms to ensure accuracy and reliability.

Contribute to the documentation and communication of data analysis methodologies, findings, and recommendations.

Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in data analysis and data management.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams on special data analysis projects and initiatives as assigned.

Qualifications:

Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work with large datasets and derive meaningful insights.

Proficiency in data analysis and visualization tools, such as Python, R, SQL, Tableau, or Power BI.

Familiarity with statistical analysis techniques, data mining, and machine learning concepts.

Strong attention to detail and ability to work with precision in a fast-paced environment.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present data findings in a clear and concise manner.

Eagerness to learn and apply data analysis techniques in real-world business scenarios.

Prior internship or relevant work experience in data analysis or related fields is a plus.

Knowledge of data management principles and database systems is a plus.
