Job Description: Engineering Quality Intern


Position Overview:

LocWill is seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Engineering Quality Intern to join our team. As an Engineering Quality Intern, you will work closely with our experienced engineering and quality assurance teams to ensure product quality and compliance with established standards. This internship will provide valuable hands-on experience in quality management, process improvement, and product testing.


Responsibilities:

Assist in the implementation and maintenance of quality control processes and procedures.

Support the evaluation of product quality through inspections, tests, and data analysis.

Assist in the development and execution of quality assurance plans and protocols.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering and manufacturing, to identify quality issues and drive corrective actions.

Assist in conducting root cause analysis and implementing corrective and preventive actions (CAPAs).

Support the monitoring and analysis of key quality metrics and prepare reports to track performance and identify areas for improvement.

Assist in maintaining and updating quality documentation, including standard operating procedures (SOPs) and work instructions.

Contribute to the development and implementation of process improvement initiatives to enhance overall product quality and efficiency.

Participate in product validation and verification activities, including test plan development, execution, and documentation.

Stay updated on industry quality standards and best practices to contribute to continuous improvement efforts.


Qualifications:

Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering or a related field.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and attention to detail.

Knowledge of quality management principles, methodologies, and tools.

Familiarity with quality control techniques, such as statistical process control (SPC) and root cause analysis.

Proficiency in data analysis tools and software, such as Microsoft Excel or statistical analysis software.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment.

Eagerness to learn and contribute to quality assurance and process improvement initiatives.

Prior internship or relevant work experience in engineering quality or quality assurance is a plus.

Knowledge of manufacturing processes and quality standards is a plus.
